Person B: (sarcastic voice, stands up from chair) Haven't you missed me?
Person A: miss you? (laughs nervously) Don't be ridiculous, the day I left you was the best day of my life! (Turns around and walks through the door and finds herself back at the begining of the same corridor)
camera shot (close up) of person A' face (shocked, afraid amd confused)

Preliminary Exercise

As part of my media coursework i must complete a preliminary continuity task involving filming and editing a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character. These two characteers exchange a couple of lines of dialogue. I will demonstrate match on action, shot/reverse shot and the 180 degree rule.

From the scenario i have been given, i first analysed the two characters. (how they might present themselves or interact with each other)
It occured to me that as it is a daydream anything is possible and so i began to think outside the box. I decided that actually... These two characters could very much be the same person. From doin this i believe that both as an individual and as a group it allows people to experiment and play around a bit more.

My aim of the sequence is to allow a 'normal everyday person' to perhaps have an insight of how a schezophrenic person copes and deals with thier problems.

Media, especially film is a strong source for advertisement i would use this as a tool to highlight the abnormalities or disabilities between individuals.
